Prince

A little bit about me...

Prince

Prince was surrendered to us as a dangerous horse having bolted, bucked, exploded and hurt his owner pretty badly as well as having hurt a few different farriers! When he came to us he was sore but with chiro, vet and Equissage sessions we got him pain free and sound! Sadly though, the explosions still happened and he hurt a farrier as well as ran over the top of his foster carer. He also crashed a volunteer in the float when he was being transported! All of his bad behaviour was random and never out of malice! Amanda would not give up as she believed Prince was not nasty but that something was causing him pain that resulted in these dangerous explosions. Prince was sent to a new trainer and he was taken to the University of Queensland Equine Hospital for back and knee X-rays and a full bone scan. Unfortunately, the scan revealed "kissing spine" and based on veterinary advice it was decided that Prince would never be pain free and the best course of action was euthanasia.
