Jack (Parlay Boy)

A little bit about me...

Jack (Parlay Boy)

Jack was surrendered after his owner was put in a position where he could no longer be cared for. He hadn't been ridden in quite a long time however he was a dream to get back into work. He didn't put a hoof wrong and would just toss his head if he got a little confused. Now he is working perfectly not just on the property but out on trails down the road as well. Our rider Bree jumps on him bareback and in a halter to take him back to his paddock. Although Jack is quiet, he is still a green TB who has raced and when he gets confused he can tend to rush or toss his head, so he will need an intermediate rider who knows how to use their seat and legs to keep him moving. He doesn't like being jerked in the mouth - so no beginners. Must be able to walk, trot and canter. Jack is just a gentleman in every way. He is easy on the ground and is a pleasure to handle. He can be a pain to load on the float but he does float well once on. If you wanted him for pony club or something requiring floating, some extra training in this area is needed. It takes us around 40 mins to load him currently.
