Chello
Gelding Paint
Chello was rescued from the Laidley sales with a badly sunburnt face by a lovely lady who put her heart and soul into him. Sadly he had some issues with his back legs which needed investigation so he came into care to see if we could find and fix his issues. Chello went to the UQ Equine Hospital for a bone scan and X-rays to see if his issues were obvious. He had a lot of issues including needing stifle surgery to fix stifle lock as well as being a wobbler. His issues were manageable until he started to have muscle issues and was consistently going lame and stumbling. Chello was then diagnosed with shivers as well, which is a neurological condition affecting muscles. Sadly without ACE (mild sedation) Chello wasn't sound nor could he walk without stumbling so we had to make the very hard decision to have him put to sleep.
