Brocky

Brocky was rescued from the kill list at the doggers. After X-rays were taken it was found that Brocky had had laminitis in all four feet at one time but that there was no severe damage. His hooves had had no trimming for quite some time and he was lame and walking strangely. Gradual farrier work over a period of time has seen Brocky recover well. Unfortunately, he continued to have ongoing laminitis issues which needed to be monitored and he was retired with SAHA. Brocky began to have breathing difficulties and following tests, was diagnosed and medicated for Cushings. He continued to deteriorated however, so he was sent to the hospital for scans which discovered a large mass impacting his heart and extensive lung disease. The decision was made for humane euthanasia.
