Atlas (Antarctica)

A little bit about me...

Atlas (Antarctica)

Atlas was saved from the dogger pens at Laidley sales this big girl stood out, her height alone drew us to this beautiful girl once we got their we realised she was in horrid condition her feet where in a terrible state, she was sore and kept lifting her leg trying to relieve her pain.

She remained such a sweet girl while we looked over her and lifted her legs and had a look at what we could do. Once we saved her she was immediately taken to our foster career who had a farrier ready.

Since being in care we have made contact with her breeder who was more than ecstatic we saved her. He still owns her retired mum and no longer breeds racehorses. Atlas was trailed but her body being so big she damaged the tendons in her front legs and was retired to breeding. She had two foals both big and grey like her; CHAPARTICA and Ma Petite Amie.

Her feet have come very far, being completely sound with her shoes on. She is ready to be started and we can't wait to see this big girl in the show ring. She is a special girl who has no idea of her size and loves nothing more than a cuddle and some love.

Atlas is not yet up for adoption but she is looking for sponsors.
