Aria (Aint She Grand)

Mare Standardbred

Aria (Aint She Grand)

A little bit about me...

Aria (Aint She Grand)

Aria is a Standardbred mare who was surrendered to us back in 2016 with a nasty leg wound after a run in with a fence.

Her leg has since healed, and she is looking for her perfect forever home!

Aria will only be adopted out into an experienced horse home that has a good background of restarting horses. Aria is a big girl and she knows she is, so needs a handler who can firmly but kindly direct Aria into how to behave correctly.

With an experienced handler she’s a pleasure to work with and will happily go along with what you’ve asked once she understands what you’re asking of her.

Aria is broken in to saddle however hasn’t been ridden in a few years and needs to be correctly restarted by the right person and gradually be brought back into work.

Aria absolutely loves people. However, can be paddock aggressive depending who she’s paddocked with and would need to find the right herd/ other horse mix.

Farrier: Stands well for the farrier, currently barefoot with trims 6 weekly.

Catch: Good to catch, lead, tie, wash and groom.

Medicate: Good to medicate and worm.

Float: Good to float.

Rug: Good to rug.

Aria has no bite, kick, rear or nasties on the ground however does suffer from QLD itch.
